What this site collects, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it.

Who controls the data

Mula Trekking runs this site and is responsible for the processing described here. For anything about privacy, write to contato@mulatrekking.com.br or message +55 71 99311-0909 on WhatsApp.

What we collect

There is no account, no login and no customer area on this site. Data passes through in two situations:

  • The contact form. The fields you fill in (name, email, WhatsApp number, group size and message) are not stored in any database of ours. They are only used to compose the message that opens in your WhatsApp. From there the conversation happens on WhatsApp, under Meta’s terms.
  • Audience measurement. We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit and which pages get read. It records things like a truncated IP address, device type, browser, where the visit came from and the pages viewed.

Cookies

Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser to tell one visit from another. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. You can block or clear these in your browser settings and the site will still work.

Who the data is shared with

  • Google (Analytics and Firebase Hosting), which processes the audience measurement and hosts the site. Hosting servers log requests for security and operation.
  • Meta (WhatsApp), when you choose to talk to us there.

We do not sell, rent or pass data to third parties for commercial purposes.

How long we keep it

WhatsApp and email conversations stay in our records for as long as needed to serve you and then for the legal retention period for commercial records. Aggregated Analytics data follows the retention set in the tool.

Your rights

Brazil’s data protection law (Lei 13.709/2018, the LGPD) gives you the right to confirm processing, access your data, correct it, anonymise it, port it or have it deleted, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR gives you equivalent rights and you may exercise them the same way.

Children

This site is not aimed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from that age group. Bookings for minors are handled directly with a parent or legal guardian.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything significant is announced on our channels.
