Fumaca Waterfall
At 380 m of free fall, Fumaca is the second highest waterfall in Brazil. The trail takes you to the top, and to one of the most vertiginous views in Chapada Diamantina.

One day: the top of Fumaca
Out of Vale do Capão on the classic 6 km trail, across open grassland and rocky cerrado, to the viewpoint at the top of Fumaca: a 380 m drop. The water breaks into mist before it reaches the bottom, which is where the name comes from. Back the same way.
